expert charity legal services

Serving the needs of charities means embracing a whole range of different disciplines. Whether you're a long-established charity, a new and smaller group or an organisation which is considering charitable status, Knights can help. We have a wide experience of all the different pressures and issues you face.

about the knights charity law team

Led by Jenny Hampson our thriving charities unit is made up of lawyers from many different areas of the firm. They have the understanding needed to advise you on the legal implications of becoming a charity. They also have the real-world experience to support your day-to-day work.

Many of our partners and lawyers are involved with charities personally, volunteering their time to support good causes, and this helps significantly in their understanding of sector needs. Jenny Hampson and Kate Smith are members of the Charity Law Association.
