I completed an Estate Management degree at the University of Central England from which I graduated in 1991. Following what was initially intended only as temporary employment as a legal secretary with Knights while looking for the relevant training to enable me to become a full blown Chartered Surveyor, I qualified as a Legal Executive in 1996 and as a solicitor 2009.
I have undertaken a considerable amount of general commercial property work although my specialism is in the field of commercial landlord and tenant. I have predominantly worked in acquisitions and disposals of a number of portfolios of properties. The latest portfolio involving the acquisition of approximately 120 properties up and down the country for a bakery.
In my private life, and as if haven’t had enough to spend my time on, I am married and have two children; a ten year old son, Joe, and a five year old daughter; Jessica. Before and in between having the children, my husband seems to have taken rather a liking to renovating the odd house or two. I suspect that it is more than coincidental that we have moved twice during our married life, each time to a house that has needed something in the way of renovation.
In my spare time (after studying, rearing children, renovating houses, housework, etc, etc) I do like to attend the odd keep fit class as well and keeping on top of the garden! Holidays are another passtime favourite of mine.
