I was educated at Erdington Grammar School in Birmingham and then worked at the Bank of England, Birmingham branch for four years working as a Banker’s Banker. On marriage I transferred to the Bank of England, Threadneedle Street, as an internal auditor ranging from counting gold bars and silver cutlery to checking library books and Gilt Certificates. I also spent time punching holes in bank notes before they were sent to the printing works for destruction.
After having two daughters I joined Knights in 1985 as an administrative assistant in the tax trust & private client Department.
Main interests are Choral singing, walking and three grandchildren (not necessarily in that order!)
