Following a number of years working as a legal secretary, gaining useful experience in general legal work and litigation, I joined Knights in August 2000 as a secretary.
In September 2002, I started on a law course with the Institute of Legal Executives, completing my studies and becoming a Member of ILEX in October 2006.
I joined the Personal Injury Unit as a paralegal in June 2004. Since that time, I have dealt almost exclusively with claimant personal injury work, including road traffic accidents, accidents in the workplace and other industrial injuries, occupiers’ liability claims, fatal accidents and criminal injuries compensation.
Being mum to a young son, spare time is very rare but when I have the opportunity, I enjoy reading, cooking, gardening and walking.
